Post Ripple Modifier during Gameplay is Permanent in Editor??

I've got a model that I have applied the MegaModifyObject and MegaRipple components on. I then animate the ripple in script, and it looks great!

Problem is when I hit Stop in the editor.

The ripple effect is now permanent on the base mesh! I have to re-import the model every time I hit Stop while in the editor to reset it back to its original form.

Any ideas what I may be doing wrong? Outside of this one problem MegaFiers is working great!
