There appears to b a limit to hoe large the Point Cache files can be. I have a fairly simple mesh of 3k verts and I'm having real trouble adding point Cache to it. I can add about 1 second of animation (30fps ~ 450kb) vit anything more and I get a Mapping Failed error.

Is there a limit to the file size of the point cache?

Hi There
There is no limit to the file size for point cache. The mapping failure means the system couldn't match up the start vertices in the cache file with the unity vertices. This is usually because the mapping file needs to be in local space not world space, or another reason could be that the first frame of the animation does not match the mesh that was exported to FBX for unity, ie if you had a character standing with their arms out for the fbx export but the cache file had a first frame of their arms by their side then that would cause a mapping failure.
