I always assume it's me, but I have done a few attempts, and read your site, but still can't see to get it.

I tried with complex objects and simple cubes.

I place the Compoent>Modifier>modify Object onto the object. Then place the
Component > Modifer> Bend .

when I adjust the settings on the Bend, I get nothing!

Also .mesh wants to be redone with .sharedMesh.

Am I missing something ??

Hi There
Well that is very odd, never had anyone say it doesn't work before, so not sure what has gone wrong. It sounds like you are doing it right, adding the Modify Object then a Bend you should see something happen even on a cube.
When did you buy the system? Have you tried reinstalling the latest version from the asset store? When you install the complete package does the example scene not work?

I am experiencing a similar issue on the non Pro 3.5.2f2. The demo scene works, however when I created a new scene with one directional light, a main camera, and the page prefab included in the package to which I attached the Component -> Modifiers -> Modify Object script. I receive the following console errors:

Instantiating mesh due to calling MeshFilter.mesh during edit mode. This will leak meshes. Please use MeshFilter.sharedMesh instead.
UnityEngine.MeshFilter:get_mesh()
MegaModifyObject:FindMesh1(GameObject, GameObject&) (at Assets/Mega-Fiers/Scripts/MegaFiers/Modifiers/MegaModifyObject.cs:199)
MegaModifyObject:ReStart1(Boolean) (at Assets/Mega-Fiers/Scripts/MegaFiers/Modifiers/MegaModifyObject.cs:83)
MegaModifyObject:Reset() (at Assets/Mega-Fiers/Scripts/MegaFiers/Modifiers/MegaModifyObject.cs:59)

This is covered in the FAQ, it is a Unity issue and not a problem.

Thanks for pointing out the all important FAQ trap I just fell into. For others that don't see the FAQ it's not in the forum it's in the website menu on the left under Extras -> Support -> FAQ

Actually that's not a bad idea to make the FAQ sticky here, it is rather hidden away.
